Who is Fabrizio Costa?

## Second generation in a family business

Ristorante Taormina has existed since 1979, founded by Cateno Costa. Since 2011 his son Fabrizio Costa has run the house on Südstraße 26 in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, near the Historische Stadthalle. What was long unimaginable to him became his dream come true.

At our place Fabrizio is host, sommelier and head chef in one person. You will meet him in the restaurant, where he and his team make sure every guest feels like at the home of friends, with Sicilian flavour and an open kitchen.

What was unimaginable to me for a long time is now my dream come true. Taormina is my self-fulfilment.

## His view of Italian wine

As a sommelier, Fabrizio advises you on your choice of wine. Taormina's wine list runs from Sicily to South Tyrol and offers red wines, white wines, rosé, dessert wines, sparkling wine and Champagne. For pasta, pizza and fish, he and his team find the right glass.
