## An Italian restaurant with a vegetarian selection

Ristorante Taormina at Südstraße 26 has been a family business with a Sicilian touch since 1979, founded by Cateno Costa and run since 2011 by his son Fabrizio Costa. We are not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, and we say so openly: meat and fish are part of our menu. But if you want to eat vegetarian in Wuppertal, you will not have to settle for a side dish with us.

16 dishes on the menu are explicitly marked VEGGY or VEGAN. Five of them are antipasti and salad, three are pasta, eight are pizza. One of these dishes is vegan: the pasta A.O.P. All the others are vegetarian. If you are unsure about a dish – because of cheese, eggs or allergens, for example – simply ask our service team. Allergens and additives are available on a separate card.

That is how mixed tables come together: some order carne or pesce, others a pasta or pizza without meat, and everyone shares the antipasti in the middle.

Meant for sharing and a good start before the pasta or pizza arrives.

## Homemade pasta without meat

Among the pasta dishes you have three options:

- **A.O.P.** – €14.90, our only dish marked vegan
- **Quadro d'Italia** – €16.90, vegetarian
- **L'Alba in Puglia** – €19.90, vegetarian

If you eat vegan, the choice with us is small; the best thing is to talk to us when booking or at the table, and we will advise you honestly.
