An Italian restaurant with fish on the menu
We are not a fish restaurant, and we like to say so up front: pasta, pizza and meat are just as much a part of our menu. But if you want to eat fish or try seafood in Wuppertal, you do not have to travel to a specialist restaurant. Ristorante Taormina at Südstraße 26 is a family business with Sicilian roots, opened in 1979 by Cateno Costa and run by his son Fabrizio Costa since 2011.
Our permanent menu includes dishes with prawns, octopus, salmon, clams and tuna – as a starter, as pasta, as a main course and on pizza. You can see them below with description and price.

Pasta with seafood
If you are looking for pasta with seafood, the linguine are the place to start: Mare Chiaro comes with clams, Oro e Mare with salmon. In the open kitchen you can watch the plates being finished.
You will also find prawns among the starters, and not only on the plate but on the pizza as well: there is a pizza with prawns and one with smoked salmon.

In addition to the permanent menu we have a monthly menu with seasonal dishes. It changes, which is why we do not build this page around it.
