Wine restaurant in Elberfeld
An Italian restaurant with a proper wine list
We have been cooking Italian and Sicilian food on Südstraße 26, near the Historische Stadthalle, since 1979. For us the right wine belongs with pasta, pizza and fish, which is why our wine list is more than an afterthought.
It takes you through Italy: white wines from South Tyrol, from Veneto, Abruzzo and Sardinia, from Piedmont, Umbria, the Marche and Apulia, and of course from Sicily. Among the reds you will find wines from northern and central Italy, from Tuscany and from the south, including Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Dolcetto d'Alba and Biserno. There is also rosé from Salento, dessert wines, sparkling wine and Champagne.
You do not have to decide alone which wine suits your meal. Just ask at the table, we are happy to help you choose.
