You have tickets for the Historische Stadthalle on the Johannisberg and still need a table? Ristorante Taormina is at Südstraße 26 in Elberfeld, close to the Stadthalle and the Schwimmoper. You can eat in peace before the concert, or round off the evening afterwards with a glass of wine.
To make that work, one small detail helps us: tell us when your concert starts when you book. Then we know how much time you have and the team can plan around it. There is no fixed concert menu and no guaranteed duration, we simply ask you for the time.

Italian in Elberfeld
A family business since 1979
Cateno Costa founded Taormina in 1979, and his son Fabrizio Costa has run it since 2011. The cooking is Italian with a Sicilian touch: antipasti, fresh pasta, pizza as well as meat and fish dishes.
The long dining room with wooden tables, banquette and bar is a home for guests from the neighbourhood, from Elberfeld and from all over the city. You can find the full range on the menu.

Where do I park?
We have no car park of our own. Many guests park on the street, and the garage and car park of the Historische Stadthalle are only a few steps away. It can be busier during events, so it is best to arrive a little earlier.
Will we make it before the concert?
Just tell us when your concert starts when you book, so the team can plan around it. There is no fixed concert menu and we cannot promise a set duration.
Are you still open after the concert?
On most evenings, yes: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 22:30, Sunday until 21:30. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The current hours are in the table above.
